Participant responsibility
If you have any questions about this workshop, we will gladly discuss details with you. We expect that you read the pre-departure information and be in sufficient good health to undertake the trip. We use public transportation in Franceand walk at length, sometimes on bumpy cobblestone streets or on narrow sidewalks. We take trams and busses in cities and hire coach buses for our outside excursions. While this contributes to the charm of the experience, it requires the participant to be in good physical condition. Bear in mind that air conditioning in European countries is not as widespread as it is in the US; hotel rooms are smaller than we are accustomed to. Because we focus on absorbing French culture, we expect our participants to do their best to adapt to Franceand embrace whatever cultural differences they might encounter: vive la difference! If you have certain dietary or other restrictions, please ascertain beforehand that we are able to accommodate you. Vegetarian diets can usually be adapted, but we regret that our chefs cannot accommodate a vegan diet.
